BR 2-06: Frankenstein

This is Gothic romance which was written by Mary Shelly.  You have ever heard Frankenstein and have watched that pictures or something on TV. Maybe you do too, I have thought that Frankenstein is monster. But actually, it is not true. A Doctor who made a monster is Frankenstein. The monster has not his name.

Doctor thought resolve people's question and he made a monster to use deads. A monster is very strong but it is so terrible appearance. He dispair of it and he escaped reft a monster.
A monster was injured by people because of his appearance. It killed Frankenstein's family. but it cried whe he was dead. And it went to somewhere.

BR 2-05: A tale of two cities

"And these were the words he wispered to himself..." (Dickens, 2009, p.61)

The story is treagedy of mainly two boys, are Sydney and Charles and a girl, is Lucie behind on French revolution.

Charles and Sydney loves Lucie, and she loves Charls. But Charles had to be dead for his ancle's sin. Charles and Sydney resemble each othre closely. Therefore, Sydney decided to dead instead of him. He did it because he loves Lucie and he doesn't want her to sadden. I think love is deep but mans are stupid. Because she loves Charles, if she was married with him, she will not be happy. Charles is very bad man. He buffaloed kind of Sydney. He didn't stop or decline Sydney's insistince because he knows him mind.

BR 2-04: Macbeth

''His bloody deeds had led to the bloodiest of ends.'' (Shakespeare, 2008, p.63)

The story is famous for William Shakespeare. It is one of the his four tragedy as with Hamlet. In the four story, this is shortest story.

Simply put, Macbeth who have fortitude and also is timid is enthroned by assassination of his honor with his wife. But he could not bear the strain of inside and outside, developed confused and commit an assault. The result was he was killed for revenge by kings and noble. 

Always that story, greed, filthy heart and selfish motive of people makes people move. Finally, he believed witches and asked them. And he ruined himself. It is divine justice. The story is not sad than I thought.

BR 2-02: East of the sun, West of the moon

''For you are the girl who went to the ends of the earth for love.'' (Davidson, 2009, p.63)

This story is Norwegian folk tale. The story was amassed by Peter Christen Asbjørnsen and Jorgen Moe, was included in ''Norwegian Folktales''.


First, a white bear said that I want to take a most beautiful girl instead I pay you much money. She arrived magic castle. She lived there with the white bear. She noticed that a human sleep nearby her during she is sleeping. 

And then, she met her family. She was said that she lights a candle to look a sleepy human's face. She knew that the bear is a beautiful boy. He said that he is cast a spell by witch and he has to married with her daughter, witch. Next day, magic castle was disappeared and he was taken by witch. She leaved there to find him, the girl rode a white bear, the king, they escaped from the castle.

I don't like this story because the story is too smooth. The story is gone like nothing happened. And I thought that witches what happened. It doesn't sit well with me.

BR 2-01: Hamlet

''The rest is silence.'' (Shakespeare, 2009, p.63)

This is William Shakespeare's famous story, Hamlet. It is one of the his four tragedy and it it very sad story.

First, I thought that this story is fear or heartless when I saw the cover. I don't like a story like that, but I read it because it was written by William Shakespeare.

It was good things to Hamlet could meet his father even he is a ghost because Hamlet was miserable since his father dead. The new king is stupid. If he has married with Hamlet's mother just one month after the king was dead, the new king must have to be distrusted. What the new king did made everyone unhappy. If he didn't do that things, everyone were saved from misery. He finally killed 5 persons.

I'm sad to Hamlet was dead. He could revenge the new king but people around him were dead, even his mother. What Hamlet's friend, Horatio could be alive is only good things. I thought that revenge can not make anything. The rest is silence, as Shakespeare said.
